Tail Extensions

Has anyone heard of this before? I recently saw some tail extensions for sale and was wondering why anyone would need these.
For those of you who do horse shows, have you used them before?

Haha. The first thing I thought of was next they'll be having horses get rump implants!!. I can see a tail extension if the horse has an unusually short tail, or if something happened to it. For show, I wouldn't. I figure it wouldn't look as natural.

I would think it would be more for show that anything else, unless your right and the horse just has an oddly short tail. Can you show a picture so we can see how the quality of it looks?

It sounds like a weave for a horse I don't understand why anyone would want to put artificial looks on a horse even if they are for show. I think a horse is naturally beautiful, no extensions or implants needed.
