Training to Resell
I keep running into people (mostly young girls) who purchase young horses or horses with behavioral problems to train and resell for profit, but never seem to make any money. I mean some of them probably break even, but most probably pay about half what a real horse owner would by time you account for upkeep while the horse is in training. Is there still money in this?

I think there could be if you know what you're doing and can spot a bargain, and a diamond in the rough. One would probably have to show the horse a couple of times and win an award or two to actually sell for a profit though. It would be fun, and it would be rewarding knowing you saved a horse from slaughter due to behaviour.
