Best Horse Breed To Tame

With so many kinds of horse breeds, is there an specific breed that can be tamed easily? Or does it solely depend on the trainer of the horse? With those who have experienced having different kinds of horse breeds, which do you think is the easiest to tame and to train?

My opinion is TWH and my daughter has an Appaloosa Quarter horse mix.She got her at 11 months I think .She has trained her well and broke her also to ride. She is 16 . She has a way with horses or has been very lucky with the breeds she has chosen. Watching her makes me think that it helps to get a young horse and bond well and get a trusting relationship with them. She also had a 4 month old pony whom she trained and broke also. The pony died this summer and she was heart broken as we all were .It was that possum disease.

Sorry about your pony and I hope your daughter have moved on already. Where did your daughter get that ability to train horses? I'm guessing that you yourself is a horse trainer, am I right? How long does your daughter break a horse? And what is her technique in breaking a horse?

I am so sorry to hear about your daughter's pony. What is possum disease? I had never heard of it before. I love an Appoloosa!

I want to know, to

I've never heard of a possum disease but if it's something they actually get from possums, I want to know because I have a couple nearby. I see them crossing the yard on occasion but haven't had any issues.

I would like to know more about this too. We live back in the hills right next to the woods and see possums all the time outside after dark. Is it a disease that is carried by possums? Is it a disease that other animals can get too? If so, I am now going to be paranoid about my two Great Pyrenees being outside and also bringing a few goats back to our farm like we plan to do in a couple weeks.
