This summer

I am hoping for a little get away even if its only for the weekend it will be nice. There is a place up the in country that has a bed and breakfast along with a farm near it for horse back riding. This is my plan, take a week off, go relax - sounds good right? Lets hope it works out that way, dire need of a vacation now.

It's winter here in australia but getting away sure sounds great.

Take some photos of your trip away and show us! I mean, going to sunny and quiet places are so good for the soul and everyone needs it, so yes your trip sounds like a good idea

I am quite excited to go. We found the place when doing a winter vacation spot bit up north of this place and seen it briefly at dark, when we were driving back home ended up learning about the horses - a full on shocker.

Thats amazing, sounds great to just be able to relax with the horses. I have only been riding a couple of times, but it was always so rushed with a group. It would be just nice to go with a friend or partner and relax!

We're going on a prolonged road trip, despite the high gasoline costs! (though we decided not to take the horse afterall, since we extended the trip and because it's costly to pull the trailer and we're taking our pop-up trailer). We've decided we're going to drive down and explore canyons in Utah and then head to the Grand Canyon. We're very excited!

Sounds like a lovely weekend vacation! Any vacation without computers, phones and tv's sounds great to me. Especially when there are so many things to do outdoors. Enjoy!

I go to the beach as I'm not all that far from the coast but not a whole lot else. The gas prices are so out of control that I'm trying not to drive any more than absolutely necessary. I'm also working at doing some odd repairs around the house and barn and restaining my back deck.

I love the idea of getting away from my computer, work and cell phone! Could not count the number of times I have wanted to just run away from it all and that trip sounds very peaceful.
