Things to check

If you think your horse might be down with some sickness, then there are a handful of key things you can look over and get an idea about. I found a great site, it looks like someones personal website but I wanted to share it for the new owners.

As it states right at the top and I think this is key, so that new owners are not in a state of worry all the time too!

But the beginning owner should not despair because there are some very specific, easily recognisable signs of the more common illnesses. But first of all it is important to become very familiar with the actions and behaviour of the horse in good health.

Wow, what a great webpage! Thank you for sharing, I am going to bookmark that and keep it for when we get our own horses.

I have been poking around even more places trying to gather as much info as I can. We are going to be horse sitting for the Aunt in a month or so and I am trying to check out things I don't know about already.
