The Clydesdale

I love the beautiful Clydesdale horses. I can remember once when the Busch had the Clydesdale drawn wagon that used to travel to different cities. The wagon passed right through our town and we got to see the horses up close.

When I lived in SC the fair used to host the Busch Clydes of Heinz Pech hitch every summer, rotating schedule. They come in these beautiful trucks and have an amazing tent just for the horses. I used to volunteer at the 4-H rabbit barn which was in the same place as the cows, time telling donkey and empty horse sections and got to pet them a couple times. They are so incredibly gentle. My love of drafts comes from those hitches (although the heinz guys were more friendly).
