I woke up this morning and it was chilly! So chilly I had to wear a sweater! I feel like the summer just flew by and I didn't get a chance to do all those summery things I planned on doing! Anybody else sad to see the summer gone?

Right now for us its still quite warm outside but nasty rain weather coming up the coast from Fay. We are going to have storms from now until Sunday I think.

It tends to get rather chilly here at night most of the summer, but I live near the water so the weather is very different. Time seems to fly whenever you want to do fun things and life gets in the way though.

It was a balmy 88 here today, and I am sick of it. I want to get my sweaters out now too!

I always look forward to the cooler end of the year, I don't deal well with the heat.

Yes, quite chilly here in New England this evening! We have been able to leave the windows open at night for most of the summer - but there is actually a pretty cool breeze blowing right now and we aren't ready to buy more heating fuel yet!

However, fall is my favorite season - especially the foliage part of the season! I never get tired of seeing the show of colors every year.

I would welcome chilly. It has been a little cooler than normal during the mornings but the long hot days of Summer aren't gone yet here. However, we are getting lots of rain now and it is expected to continue for a few days.

We are not quite done either. We are looking at another ten days ish at eighty or more, and the nights still hovering around sixty. I wish that it would drop sooner, I sleep so much better!

Ditto to what Jamil said! It actually gets cooler than the 60s - it has dropped into the upper 40s - lower 50s a few nights now! But by late morning, it's right back up into the 80s!

But yes, same here - I definitely prefer the cooler evenings for sleeping - it's tough to sleep when it's humid.

Wow, I can't believe this - I was coming back from the post office yesterday and noticed several trees that have already started displaying fall foliage colors ... I know it's been chilly a few nights, but wow - this just seems really early for colored leaves already!

I love colored leaves autumn is the best time of the year for me. It cool calm and beautiful.
