Stall Plates/Info

What do you have on your horse's stall other than a name plate? Does it include their age/breed or just a name? Registered name or barn name?

ihorse has "ihorse" and a small wipeoff board with the schedule for the week as well as any other important information.

We no longer have anything on the stall because we moved the house to my sister's barn in the country. It's three horses now, but it's only family there so we don't have plates.

I don't have a horse right now but when I worked on the dude ranch the plates on the stalls had the name of the horse and the name of the owner. All other information concerning the horse was kept on a clipboard hanging on a nail on the stall.

We have registered names and barn names as well as breed and the owners name at our barn. Schedules are on the calendar in the tack room as well as the office, medical information is in the feed room and each horse's file in the office. If the hrose doesn't have a registered name it may just be their barn name.

Ladybird is the only horse in our barn so we don't use nameplates. When we kept here at the boarding stable they kept her name, my name and any special instructions as to care. There was also a wipe off board where I could leave messages for the stable hands if I visited at a time when no one was around.
