Stages

Do horses go through stages like children do? The terrible two's, and the fun time when they go through becoming an adult (the teen years).

Yes I have experienced stages as they grow up, but mine were miniature horses and so I am not quite sure that it counts. I know that miniatures tend to be more spritely anyway, more spirited. But yes, they are puppyish when younger, and they do mature a little, get less playful.

I think so. I've seen how the young foals run and jump and play, a total carefree attitude. The young adult horses tend to frolic and play with each other.Once they hit adulthood, they tend to calm down. They still frolic and play but you see a more reserved attitude about them.

I also agree they do. As I have observed that before way back when I was 15 and I stayed at my Grandma's farm. They are really spirited and fun. I guess, just as humans are, horses acted similarly.
