Are you and your horses just aching to get outside and have some nice days? I can tell our horses are sick of the gloom and cold and just waiting for the sunny spring days. I know I am too! The other day we had a good bit of sun for the afternoon, I let the horses out in the pasture, they were so happy! Of course, they came back covered in mud!

But I sure have a bad case of cabin fever right about now! I'm so sick of icky weather and gray everywhere. I'm hoping that we're past the snowy part but since it's not even halfway through March, I'm not getting my hopes up too high. Our latest snowfall last year was April 15!

Oh yes, you are not alone. We have no more snow here thankfully and the dears are starting to get frisky and run around. We have had some temperatures nearing fifty a couple of times, so things are getting nice again.

Who doesn't love it once the bad weather is gone and its nice with the sun shining out? I cant wait till |I can get into some more yard and house work myself outdoors. Being cooped up is the pits!

Oh yeah. I am so sick of my nostrils freezing every time I go outside. It has to be just as annoying to the horses. I'm sure they can't wait for the spring rides and fresh grass.

The past few days both horses have been really frisky and antsy when we've been out. I'm sure they are just as sick of being cooped up as we humans are. You can totally see the longing in their eyes when they look over at the far pasture, poor things.

Yes, I am so ready for spring and I'm sure my horse is as well. The problem with spring where we live is that everything is all wet and muddy. I'll probably still take the horse out but it just makes extra work to get her all cleaned up afterwards.
