Spring and Summer colds

For some reason, people usually associate the Winter and possibly late Fall with colds, and yet what is often overlooked is just how common a cold in the Spring or Summer can be.

Case in point, myself.

As of this writing I have been dealing with my cold for nearly a week now, despite taking tea and vitamins to help combat it.

How often do the rest of you get colds in the Spring?

*raises hand and jumps up and down, stopping to blow nose and cough*
The pollen, sinuses and allergies never fail to smack me upside the head at least once every spring/summer. I was so sick the year I was 14 and moving I went everywhere with a blanket to snuggle under, despite the 80+ degree heat in August, lol.

I think that colds are atually all due to germs aren't they? They don't have anything to do with the tempreature. Except in winter the germs become a lot more common and spread.

I haven't got a cold but I've had a cough for three weeks I don't smoke so that's not the reason.

I was getting a bit worried because I have rheumatoid arthritis and one of the side-effects of drugs I take is a cough and you have to tell your consultant about it. Saw my consultant last Friday but he didn't seem at all bothered.

I told my husband to mention it at my funeral and say "Well, she said she had a cough!"
