Rehousing

Well the time has come. I am just not happy with what I am seeing on my surprise visits to the stable. Between constantly mucky stalls, and handlers removing blankets that I put on (when it's getting down to 25 degrees at night here now) despite my repeated instructions and protests, I am just not happy.

Do you think I will find anywhere this close to the holiday?

You might, but I would really check them out to be sure if you can. Last thing you want is stuck in some type of contract with bad things going on, and then with the holidays no one that can help you this close to the holidays when management will be taking off some time for vacations.

I would try to report them, seeing as its that cold at night and you have demanded them take better care of the horse, you really need to look into this. I think you may have a hard time finding a new place but that depends on how long you take to look too, have you started yet?

I am so sorry that you are left in this mess so close to the holidays. Just a thought-do you know of others at the stable that have left?

They might be able to point you in the direction of some better places. Even better you might find someone who has the land that you could put your horse on for the holiday.

You might find somewhere, stables don't fill up because its a holiday. However as you mentioned its colder it might be a bit harder than in the summer when people prefer to leave their horses outside.

I've seen a couple of places now and they are terrible. Nothing like I would like.

The only decent play is so far away, I'd never see her. It's starting to look like I might have to find a new owner, because I can't put her through this.

Gah! I don't know what to do!
