Parisian Art Suffers Fatal Heart Attack
In one of this week's horse races in California, the horse Parisian Art had a fatal heart attack. The jockey was thrown off the horse but not injured.

I"m not sure I've heard of it happening during a race but I have heard of horses having heart attacks or worrying about breeding stallions having them. We had a 21yr old TB we bred who had a heart murmur so it was always a concern with him.

Bad week for horses
I was reading about a show in Scotland where two of the horses died in falls. Another one somersaulted over a jump and the rider was seriously injured but the horse was fine. Not a good week in the equine world.
