Not too old for horses

I'm a senior guy...but not too old to still love being around horses. As a matter of fact, I find I have more time for them now and think they are good companions. Glad to have found you guys.

Glad to see you here. Horses are for everyone, from every walk of life, not just the young. People of all abilities still ride, and it is considered wonderful therapy for them!

So do you ride at all?

I think when I am older I want at least two horses to keep me company. I seem to get along with them more than any other animal on the planet and no I am not a year of the horse.

As long as you can take responsibility for the animals you have, I don't really see the need for an age description or anything. I see many "younger" people take poor care of pets, so I think its all about being mature enough to handle your duties.

Saddle sore - yes I do ride, but not nearly as often as I used to. Sometimes it's a little difficult to get in the saddle but it's not even that, I really just prefer to fuss around him and make sure he's alright.

I've seen all ages take poor care of their pets and I think it comes down to the relationship between you and your pet. Some people really just don't know.
