Since alot of people seem at a loss on where to find a horse I thought I'd list a few I've used.

in the farm/garden section or pets this is a nice international site

You can also talk to local vets, farriers, trainers, feed stores, tack stores, pet stores, etc. Many know the ins and outs of the local horse world and who has horses for sale, etc. Many also have bulletin boards with ads.

Wow, thanks for the resources. This is a good list. I have bookmarked all of it. Now, I won't have a hard time searching for the right sites to visit.
