Fireworks

It's that time of year and our poor animals are freaking out about the noise from the fireworks locally. I'm glad that it's such a short time period that we have to put up with it, because I think that there'd be a high degree of insanity otherwise

Yeah, it was Canada Day a couple of days ago and the animals went nuts, especially the horses. We had to tuck them into their stable stalls early so that they would not hear the commotion.

Our stables do not keep out the noise well enough, and so we end up spending the evening with them. They are better with us, and out of the stables, than alone in them.

Even our house doesn't keep out the noise so no way the stable would!
