Mr. Ed

Who here remembers the classic american television series of Mr. Ed?

I personally have always found the concept of a talking animal especially a talking Horse as very interesting, and I love watching episodes of Mr. Ed on Nick At Night or TV Land.

Thoughts anyone?

Oh yes, this was one of the first exposures I had to horses! I loved the show and always longed to meet a horse that could talk. Every horse I would see when I was young I would coax to talk for a long time!

Of course, of course

I was just browsing through threads this morning, and saw the title on this one Yes, I used to watch Mr.Ed all the time - even now, I still think it would be wonderful if our pets could talk - it really seems like they WANT to, sometimes!

I also remember reading somewhere - during a 'google' search probably - that "Mr.Ed" was actually a zebra?! Has anyone else heard that or read about it? I can't even remember now if there was any truth to that!

I remember growing up and watching Mr. Ed on Nick at Nite with my Dad. It was a good family show and we really enjoyed it. I never heard that Mr. Ed was a zebra! Who would've thought that?!
