A good police horse is just like any other good office, including the canine ones. They live for their job and to ask them to be a show horse or pet would be wrong. So while some people seem to think bending a horse's will to our own is wrong, giving a horse a suitable task is important to keep them from being bored.
There are tons of dangers: getting shot, getting hit by a car, being stepped on, hit, etc. The good news is that all equine and canine officers are given the same rights as the human ones. Assaulting a police horse is just like smacking a human officer, and shooting/hitting them resulting in death is pursued to the full extent of the law. |
