Locals
I seen tons of places on TV that deal with awareness, but where can I find one local to me? What should I be looking for. I can find all types of shelters for cats and dogs, but when it comes to the bigger animals I'm at a stump in the road it seems.

Try asking around at the local dog/cat shelter. you'd be surprised how much they know about other species even if they don't have any at the moment. I know my local SPCA takes everything from mice to horses and usually has a variety of animals.

I think I am going to try the same, I work with local schools to help setup educational field trips for the elementary schools in this area. 4H is not something I think this state is aware of, or maybe they closed down? Not sure, but I am going to look it up, thanks for the help!
