Keeping old calenders after they are expired

I have had this habit of keeping all of my old calenders, long after they have expired.

Why have I done this? Mainly because a lot of the calenders have beautiful artwork and scenery. To just throw them out would just seem to be a terribly waste, and just feels wrong to me.

Anyone else like this at all?

I have calenders that expired four years ago that I haven't even opened. They were pretty special calenders-limited edition or collectors, but all the same I often wonder why I keep them around.

There are limited edition calendars? I had no idea! I used to keep all mine, but in the interest of reducing my pack-rat nest, I've taken to cutting out the pictures from the months I loved and putting them up.

I do too. I have the Anne Geddes with the baby collection. I sometimes keep the ones that have inspirational quotes on them, I am a big fan of quotes.

I have some funny cartoon ones and an amazing fantasy artwork one which I have cut the pictures out of, kept and laminated. some are just too good to throw away.

If the calender has something special about it, I will probably hold on to it.

There needs to be something special or memorable about it though.

My calender collection is fairly sizable actually...
