Its like a microchip for your saddle, boots, trailer, tack trunk or other valuable items you want to be able to track down in the event of theft. The chip is about the size of a grain of rice which makes it perfect to tuck away along a seam, or the corner or a baseboard trim.

I checked out the site but couldn't find the rates for their service? While I can understand wanting to protect expensive equipment, is this type of thing commonly stolen? Just curious about the level of need for such protection.

I would wonder the rates as well, multiple things could get very expensive to keep track of. Would this be used anywhere is there a distance range only. Im thinking if you live on a farm on your own maybe not that much needed unless you are going out for the weekend or something.
