How often to trim?

My horse Mighty had a very long locks. I trim her like once every two weeks to prep her up. Any suggestion on how often should I trim it?

Thanks!

Locks where exactly? Are you talking mane/forelock/hocks/tail? Depending on where the locks are and why you want them trimmed will dictate how often its needed. I mean the mane isn't really a huge issue as you can braid/band it out of the way, but hocks or a bridle path might need trimming more often.
