How Do They Pick Olympic Disciplines?
I was noticing there were only English events in the Olympics. I could swear I read about vaulting and reining being added potentially but that was awhile ago and obviously its not something that seems to be happening anytime soon. There are so many events not covered in Eventing, Jumping and Dressage though.

Well if you look at how they developed the Games compared to where most Western disciplines were developed its not a big surprise that they aren't included. I imagine its a long process to get something added in as well. And there are plenty of other shows for every little event in riding.

I'm not sure how they would fit in more disciplines. With the different levels and three disciplines for each already they would surely have to cram another in sideways. It would be nice to see one western event in there though.
