Bug-repellent Clothing

Ariat makes a line of bug repellent clothing. The repellent is odorless and supposed to last through 70 washings. Costs about $20 more then the regular Ariat shirts coming in at around $50. Wonder if it really works like they say it does?

Interesting

Sounds like it could be a very useful clothing line for fisherman or campers but I don't think I'd spend that much money for every day. Mosquitos and such don't bother me all that much except for when they're exceptionally thick out.

I would bet though that although it claims to last 70 washes that by half way through that it's no where near as effective. Otherwise they would have to make it super strong to begin with.

I love the idea too but I am debating how many washes really work. I am allergic to mosquito's and would love something like this. Right now Off! has a spray that is to be odorless and non-greasy so thats what I am stuck with for right now. I don't think I could afford that kind of clothing for everyday wear either.

I'm super cheap so I'm not liable to get one unless its on sale for around $30 or less. Ariat makes stellar stuff though so I'd trust them over some other brands or something you could buy at Walmart. If you pop into an outdoor shop they probably have the same or more expensive similar stuff.
