What do you do when your horse passes away? Who do you call. I have been lucky enough to have my horse at the animal hospital when it happened but I was just thinking about it, who do you contact to take care of it?

I asked my friend this very question and she said that although she dreads the day, her plan was to have a tractor dig a hole in the pasture and let her rest in peace right there.
