If you dont own a horse but still want to compete can you do so? How would you start out if you did have a horse of your own?

I would think if you don't have a horse you could borrow one from a friend or neighbor. I don't know where to start bur you could ask your local horse club.

Most stables that have lessons will allow for the use of lesson horses for shows and sometimes even arrange for transport to shows not at the stable. You can also lease or rent a horse to use as you would a horse of your own.

I just have always wanted to try this and never had the chance. I wonder if its possible to rent a horse out and just to race it without others competing, just to see what it feels like and if its for me or not.
