Well I finally had to make a decision and came to the realisation that my baby needed to be somewhere that she would get the care that she needed. It didn't seem fair to keep her somewhere inferior just for my pleasure.

But I couldn't sell her either. So she has gone to live with my sister and her horse. Technically she is still mine and I will visit whenever I can, but they live a couple of hundred miles away and I know I won't be able to get out there much.

I take comfort in the knowledge that she is safe, and loved, being with my sister.

That's too bad. It's a hard choice to make, giving a best friend away. Be consoled that she is in good hands.And she even has a horse friend to be with now too.

Well, she had friends before of the equine kind, just not of the human kind. The stable was sore neglecting her, and others there. They are understaffed and seem to want to keep it that way.

Well they will be under paid soon too when they lose all their borders.

Ah, poor girl, and poor you too! I'm sure that is hard. But it's good that your sister can take care of her, and you have someone you trust. Better than worrying all the time.
