What makes you fall in love with them? Someone asked me this today at work and I had to sit and think about it to try and explain to them. There is something about a horse, being around him or her they put off a good vibe, I'm not sure how else to say it, but thats how it works for me. What about you?

I've always loved how companionable and noble they are. Unlike people they are always willing to give you a chance. Horseback riding is also the only team sport you can do by yourself :) (or at least it was when I was a kid before these Xtreme sports got added)

Unfortunately I only got close to them in my adult years but I think I love them for the same reason as my kids. They seem so understanding - just looking in their big eyes and I get that feeling that they understand so much of the world and what's goin on around us. They are graceful, regal - they rock.:o

For me it is the bond. When they come up to you in the pasture and nudge your hand. Or when you are riding them and they make you feel safe. They are the sweetest most caring animals once you have formed that bond.

How could you not fall in love with them? They are so sweet, so intelligent, and they bond right to you. Their eyes are so deep, and when they look at you with love, you melt.

Love at first sight. I fell in love in an instant. I can not remember not loving my horses. I think that they are the sweetest and most caring animals. They are so nurturing as well.

I am a sucker for the stance of many. When people have proper stances its attractive. I think its just the same for an animal. Who wants a lazy animal, I want one that can carry itself and I am sure pride has something to do with it as well.

I think I love the mystery about them the most. How they can sense more things than we as humans can. It always makes my mind ponder but just trying to get a sense of that yourself is challenging to me too.
