If you plan to travel a great distance with your horse/s how much feed are you taking with them. Say for example you are moving, or just selling the horse but the new owner is far away.

You should be able to work out how much you need to take. You know how long you will be on the road, so work out how many times you would feed during that time. Just remember to take a bit extra in case of hold ups, and don't be upset if the horse eats nothing. They tend to be very unsettled by moving.

You should definitely be able to do the math out and figure if there is not enough space in the trailer to make a stop at a feed store on the way. This is one of the reasons why large show trailers have tack/feed storage as well as small living spaces.
