Some people were dead scared when they got the chance to get on a horse, others were very relaxed and felt like they belonged into the saddle. What was your experience like? Were you scared? Were you too brave to admit? :D
I don't think words could really describe it, the only thing that I kept thinking was wow that horse has a really big head, and what if I fall down, that looks like a really long fall.
I ended up still riding and loved it, but someone had to coax me for about a half hour before I got any closer than 5 feet from the horse. :)

I used to be half a year old when i was first time on a horse.
My Mum was taking me on a ride with her former horse.
I can't really remember.

The first time I rode a horse was when I was five. I remember that I was terrified and crying. My dad eventually had to take me off and put me on a pony instead.

I remember thinking it was a really long way down and hoping I didn't get seasick. Once I stopped focusing on that and started thinking about other things I was better and fortunately didn't get sick all over the poor horsie. Beginner horses are angels.
