I was reading through Horse Illustrated and they have come pretty ribbon display things. They look like metal you can hang your ribbons from. I have mine in a clump hanging off a string on my bookcase and the trophies are on the top shelf.

I keep mine on the stall wall for display. I figure it's partly the horse's efforts for having them so I'll give her half the credit. I put each medal on a seperate nail and the trophies on a shelf.

I have my ribbons arranged in a few shadow boxes along with some newspaper clippings and pictures from events I've competed in. My trophies are in a large glass display case that has some nice backlighting.

Well, I don't have any winnings yet, but I hope to some day soon. In the tack room in my barn there are a few built in shelves. I can just picture a couple trophies and ribbons right in that spot.
