I have read about one topic about when is the right time to ride a horse. I have a question to ask and that is why I started this thread.
How do horses react with rain, snow, heat, or other kinds of weather? Which kind of weather are they most vulnerable?

Horses react to the weather just like other mammals. Extreme heat and extreme cold can be dangerous if they're old, young or malnourished. Usually horses will seek out shelter with their herd (sharing bodywarmth). It's usually young foals that have the most difficulty, because of their small body mass and little fat.

Wetness can be a big problem if they can't get dry or out of the wind. Extremes are bad for almost anything, especially for the very young or very old, just like most mammals. Fortunately most people have the common sense to give their horses shelter in their fields or bring them in/don't put them out if its dangerous for them or use blankets.
Horses are very delicate animals and they react to any extreme weather conditions. But I wonder how the horses survive the Arabian deserts. Are they just used to it or the owners train them to be more enduring of heat?
