My first horse was a 12 yr old Arab with the curiosity of a cat. I had her boarded in the spare stalls of a local race track. One afternoon, a Jockey made the mistake of leaving the door open to the Jockey's quarters. Gypsy's stall was across the courtyard and the open door was just too much for her. She managed to open her stall door and trotted across the courtyard. Within seconds she was inside the sleeping quarters of the Jockeys. I came around the corner just in time to hear a group of tiny men shouting unspeakable words. When I entered the Jockey's Quarters, there was Gypsy head high, tail flying, snorting with fire in her eyes trotting through rows of beds smashing into everything. When she spotted me, she knew she was in trouble, so she bolted for the door and headed right back to her stall. The next day we were evicted from the Race Track.
