Are there fees when you send your horse into a show to compete and what is the average cost? I have been to some mini shows but nothing regional or anything.

Almost every show I've entered has had some fee to enter. They vary based on the type of show as well as the prizes awarded. Fancier shows, bigger shows and those with fancy trophies or a cash prize will cost more while a local fun show with ribbons or certificates will probably cost alot less.

Yes there is a fee to horse shows. And like what barnbum said, the entry fee depends on the kind of show you want your horse to be in. The more prestigious the show then the entry fee is higher.
