So I have come across a nice lady who is looking to turn her "office" space at the barn into a Consignment Shop the beginning of October. As she's only 20mins from me I decided I should have a go through of my old tack and clothes and sell off what I don't need or will never use again to buy a new set of breeches and boots. So I was thinking what would sell best.
I have 5-7 pairs of everyday breeches(mostly cotton with faux suede knee patches), a show outfit (full seat breeches in white and long sleeved shirt/stock pin/black jacket), two pairs of rubber PVC lined boots, and a pair of nice fringed chaps that I won't fit into ever again most likely so they will be going. But I also have a complete bridle, a couple random bits, and some extra bridle pieces, a couple halters/lead ropes and an extra long girth that are all in good condition.
But I don't know how many people buy used tack. Is it worth pricing and trying to sell? I'm sure she would be glad of the inventory to fill her space, but I don't want to waste her time if it never sells. None of it is spectacular, but it is all well cared for and in good repair.
