Arabian horses have always been viewed as best of the best breeds of horses when it comes to racing.

Have anyone ever ridden one of these, they also say it is quite temperamental, but I am not too sure about it.

Maybe endurance racing, but I'd put my money on a QH or TB for a regular race any day.;) Arabians can tend to be a bit flighty at times, but I have met more than one that was also completely quiet and calm.

I think that Arabians come to mind, as many see these portrayed on TV a good deal more than some other types (in movies mostly). I love the look of them, but Im not sure they would be best for races either.
