As I have said in other places, I'm a Vet student. Unfortunately I haven't had much experience with horses during my life out in the field, just in the hospitals and autopsy rooms. One of the things I really do't understand is all the tack that goes on a horse, how it's supposed to be used or what the names of all the bits are. Does anyone know a good introduction to such things that they recommend, or could you give a summary here? Horsepeople aren't going to tihnk I know anyhting about the health of their horses if I name the tack wrong.
