Horse Evacuees

The wildfires in Southern California caused people to be homeless and animals as well. The Los Alamitos Race Course provided a temporary shelter for the horses that are affected by this calamities. If you know someone who have a horse and lives near Los Alamitos, you can tell them that they can use the race course for the moment as a shelter for their horses. Its so sad. I was just reading about the fires on a blog I follow. I was reading that most of the large stables have been moved but people with only a horse or two are the ones they are worried about now. I just hope they get the fires under control soon.

Thank you for posting that. I have some family that way that do own a ranch area, but no animals right now. They were just missed by the fire and everything that has been going on. I give so much credit to those that help in times like this, without them many people would be without their loved pets. I try to donate when I can to help out.
