Quick lil' introduction in a new forum - hope it becomes as big and successful as it's german counterpart.

Well...what to say about me... I'm 28, currently living in Germany but used to live in England and the US for quite some time in my life. Right now my time is nicely devided between Germany and California with plans to move to California permanently by 2009.

I started riding around 20 years ago, used to do your usual riding school/pony-club routine. I started out riding english, really enjoy(ed) jumping, and have switched to western riding a couple of years ago.
I don't consider myself a good rider (am a bit of a coward and never had really good riding lessons), could easily live without riding but not without horses.

I've been helping out with caring for a small group of horses (ranging in age and size from a 34 year old pony to a 3 year old Frisian ) for the past 2 years. It is easily the best horsey time I've ever had in my life. It has brought me in contact with so many different horse-characters and such interesting training methods as Linda-Tellington Jones' TTEAM.

My favorite is a shetland cross gelding in appaloosa colors. If I'd ever buy my own horse again it would be him.
The ones of the group I ride are a Haflinger/Warmblood gelding and a Welsh B mare.
