Here Comes The Rodeo!

Our county fair is in town this week and along with it are the stock shows and everybody's favorite - The Rodeo! So, on Friday night, I hope to go see it, provided the crowds aren't too unbearable. Does anyone else here have the rodeo come to their home town during county fair time each year?

There is a small community about ten miles from where I live that puts on a town rodeo every year. I enjoy going and watching a lot of the kids compete in rodeo events. We also have rodeo events at our State Fair every year.

Well, it looks like I won't be getting to go to the rodeo after all tonight. It turns out I have to work a few hours and won't be home until after it starts. Luckily, our local cable channel always puts everything that happens at the county fair on TV. So, hopefully I can still see it. It won't be the same as seeing it live, but I do need the money more than the rodeo, I guess...

I think we may have one but its no where close, does it count when its in your state but many many miles away?

Thats how it would be for us I think here. It would be fun to see though.

We used to but I don't think they have for a couple years. We have to actually head out to the fair for the rodeo, but its usually more than worth the trip through the countryside. We pick apples and pumpkins on the way there or home and make a day of it.
