Good when really bad

I need to ask this for someone that has had horses for afew years. You know when you walk in the house and your cat or dog is being really sweet, since they did something bad? Can a horse do this by chance?

I always tend to think horses are calm and quiet animals that just are happy to be alone or maybe with a couple of others, but nothing to cause a stir like some domestic animals can.

I'm not sure horses get into trouble like cats and dogs do but they can definitely give the innocent look when need be. Maybe they were nibbling the jacket you left next to their stall or something but they can pretend to be innocent.

The aunts horse doest this sometimes but it mostly happens when she is just trying to be shy and cute. Sometimes she will nibble at your hands or anything else she can get close to, but its always a nibble never a bite which makes me happy. Even though I have been around them a good deal I still always worry about that in the back of my mind.
