Dehydrated

What do you do when your horse doesn't drink enough during the hot months. I know that you can give sick children other things besides just water, is it the same with a horse?

They sell electrolytes for horses in a powder form, same as for people. I find for most horses just making sure to offer enough water is helpful, but some really do need the added flavor to encourage them to down the bucket.
