equipment you can't live without
As a horse owner, I know that some equipment while useful, are really not needed. However, some can make both the horse and your life easier. For me it is a deluxe grooming kit that I got for my birthday. It had brushes as well as other grooming knickknacks. What about you?

hoofpicks and halter ropes. I can make do with just about anything else, but I've found a good hoofpick and extra halter ropes make the barn go round. I also like helmet covers. The prettier the better, then you can buy one helmet and just take the cover off if you need to show.
