Camarillo White Horse

This has to be one of my favorite types. All white and what a beaut! Here is a little back-round, as the first time I heard the name I thought of Camarillo (the place in Cali).

They only have a 50% chance of being full white when breeding, that makes me think of how expensive they can really end up costing someone!

Above the 50% for being pure white, there is also a 25% chance of either having a dead foal or the other 25% in being nonwhite.

A White horse is not albino, white horses tend to have blue eyes only, while Albinos have pink ones.

Not all "White horses" are really white, many places will say they have a White Horse, when in fact it ends up being a shade of gray, make sure you check the skin color to be sure!

I never knew that. I love white horses. I wonder how someone would keep it clean though. Frequent baths would be necessary. and you're right about the shade of grey. I've had many a person tell me their horse was white and it turned out it was just light grey.

Its hard to tell from far away and it makes me wonder what happens if you purchased a horse online from someone and had it shipped to only find out it was Grey.

That's why you don't purchase certain things online, it's way too risky. I assume that a white horse would cost more than twice what other horses would cost, therefore you would have to be 100% sure of what you are getting.
