Parelli

I've been reading alot about Parelli training, but alot of it seems rather...odd to say the least. Has anyone had any experience with this? Does it work or do you have just as good of results with other methods of training?

What exactly are you reading, I have never heard of this, so please share what you have learned. I am all for learning new things, even weird ones.

I was reading something recently on the net. It is basically a system that allows horse lovers to train their horses in a loving manner without intimidation, fear or force.

I'd imagine that your best results will depend on your skills, if you're the trainer, and how much time you can devote to training the animal.

No matter what the animal I always tend to see people give up too soon when they just don't put in enough time or patience to train it. I don't know much about this type of training, but I think if you can manage to not give up your well on your way. A horse can tell when you just don't have it and they are going to respond to it as well. The whole part about Parelli is a communication bond that you have, and if your not willing to work with it, why would the horse?
