Cribbing

As the weather is nice and most places are putting horses out daily I am reminded of how many of them crib and need to wear cribbing straps. Are these really useful?

They're about as useful as putting arm guards on a heroin addict. A really determined horse will always find a way to do what it wants to do. They don't just do it because they're bored, but because the behaviour is addictive.
