Camping with a horse

Does anyone have experience with camping with horses? We'd love to do some of that this summer, but I'm not sure how to plan bedding them down and feeding in the wilderness. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

That seems like it would be more than the normal packing up for a camping trip. I think you could take the feed with you, but I am lost on the bedding too.
