Did anybody else read this book when they were growing up? My guess would have to be yes, since we're all here on a horse forum. I remember not really understanding all the different things that happened when I was younger. Ginger was my favourite character.

Read the book numerous times and seen the movie. My kids foster my love so I have to "endure" it over and over again. I don't mind. It's a good movie.

I don't remember ever seeing a movie. I would have thought certain sections a little too dark or depressing for kids. Like the city work, for example.
