Birth stories?

I was thinking (and daydreaming hoping that today will end soon) it would be very odd if a horse went into labor will being transported somewhere. Has this happened before than anyone is aware of? Are there certain dangers you need to know about in case you end up being on the delivery side of things and are not really qualified for it?
