I found a couple children's games at a garage sale this weekend, and my daughter and I have been playing non-stop. I'd forgotten how nice board games are for bonding and passing a rainy day.

Any adult games that you love? I'm thinking the hubby and I could play sometime.

My husband loves to play Scrabble. I will play with him but it's not my favorite game because he always kicks my butt.
As a kid I played board games all the time but the only one I remember still was Clue.

I play Clue Jr and Monopoly Jr with my kids. As an adult, I love Trivial Pursuit. I also enjoy Scrabble, but my husband doesn't. I used to play with my friends a lot, but that seems to have gone by the wayside.

I haven't played one in ages. It seems all the games we have are on the computer. I really like monopoly. We do have that one. It's the only board game we have. Maybe I'll get another.

I used to love playing Monopoly but the game runs too long and now I find it bores me. Now Scrabble and Stratego are more my thing.

I love board games of all kinds. I grew up playing scrabble with my family, and later (even though there's no board) dominoes. Chess, checkers, Chinese checkers... all a lot of fun. Sorry was a good deal of fun, too. As a little-little kid it was all about the chutes and ladders and candyland.

Our family loves board games and one of our favorites is Sherlock Holmes! Four of us can be kept entertained for hours and we like nothing better than playing it on a winter's evening, with the curtains shut against the dark, wind and rain and a pot of tea and a slice of drizzle lemon cake to hand .... pure bliss!
